Study: Eating Candy Can Lead Kids To Crime

Some say candy makes kids hyper, but a new study says a daily candy habit can lead to much worse.

A British study finds kids who eat candy every single day may be more likely to be convicted for violent crimes when they grow up.

Researchers think this may be because regularly giving in to kids’ pleas for sweets may stop them from learning how to wait to get what they want.  Researchers say this might push them towards more impulsive behavior.

The study is based on 17,500 participants in the 1970 British Cohort Study.

Sounds like more money spent uselessly to come up with a result that matches someone’s political agenda. If we’re going to see congress tax juice and soda, then we need an excuse to tax candy too. This kind of stuff is just plain old political posturing by those who believe in the nanny state.

Well, obviously I am a bloody slasher!!  Do you realize someone…and I don’t care what country…got paid BIG government bucks for this study?!  It’s bad enough I should be a raving sociopath from Bugs Bunny and the RoadRunner, now smarties and bubblegum have made me murderous.

Here’s a tip for the news channels:  Quit posting this garbage news and it will go away!!!

This is absolutely the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I’ve never done a criminal act and my dad used to spoil me with candy or chocolate every day.

OMG, what is this society of our coming to.  if we spank our kids we’ll make them stupid, and if we let them eat too much candy they will be criminals.  what next? if we potty train to early will they turn out to be psychos?  i think we need to do a study on the people who do the studies and see what kind of whack jobs they are.
