Tylenol Recalls Children’s, Infants’ Medications

The makers of Tylenol recall more than 20 types of children’s and infants’ Tylenol liquid products.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The makers of Tylenol have recalled more than 20 types of children’s and infants’ Tylenol liquid products.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare has voluntarily recalled certain lots of children’s and infant liquid Tylenol products in consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
One of the products’ inactive ingredients does not meet internal testing requirements.
The recalled applies to select lots of the medications that were manufactured between April 2008 and June 2008.

Consumers can find the lot numbers on the bottom of the original box and also on the bottle sticker.

Parents and caregivers who have given the product to their child or infant and have concerns should contact their child’s health care provider.
