Developers Work On Green Apartment Communities

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Three local developers are getting funds to create green apartment communities in a few spots around Columbus.

Recently, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency supplied local developers, including the Columbus Housing Partnership, with a low-income housing tax credit equity, which means that construction will be conducted in the most environmentally responsible way.

The three areas that will see transformation are a mobile home park on Hudson and Parkwood Avenue, a portion of land on Refugee Road and an area near Columbus State Community College.

Construction is scheduled to begin next year.
