CLEVELAND - Police in Cleveland are expanding their search of a convicted rapist’s neighborhood and his neatly kept home, where 10 bodies have now been found.

In addition to the four latest bodies they found buried in the backyard of Anthony Sowell’s home yesterday, authorities found a skull wrapped in paper inside a bucket in the basement.

Fifty-year-old Sowell, a registered sex offender, was charged yesterday with five counts of aggravated murder.

He’s scheduled to make his first court appearance today on the charges.

Police are searching vacant homes in the neighborhood, looking for more bodies. Police Chief Michael McGrath says firefighters also will search in the walls and floors of Sowell’s home today.

No bodies have been identified.
