Ohio Gas Prices Fall To 6-Month Lows

COLUMBUS, Ohio —Ohio gasoline prices have fallen to the lowest levels in almost six months, to an average $2.30 for a gallon of regular fuel.
   
The latest survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express shows prices are down 9 cents from last Monday, when regular-grade gas was averaging $2.39 in the state.  The survey indicates prices are now down to levels last seen in late April.
   
Gas is more than a dollar cheaper than last year at this time, when the Ohio average was $3.43.  Gasoline costs are dropping as questions about the health of the U.S. economy continue to weigh on prices for crude oil.
