Train Strikes Marion Man

MARION, Ohio—A male pedestrian was struck by a train in Marion Monday morning.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Marion police said a pedestrian was hit by a train in the 500 block of West Center Street.

Officers found Peter Hush, Jr., 40, of Marion was hit by a southbound Norfolk-Southern train.

Hush sustained severe head and leg injuries.

Apparently, the man was alert and oriented at Marion General Hospital. That was around 10:23 a.m.

He was transported to Columbus’ Grant Medical Center by medics.

The details of the crash remained under investigation at this time.
