CPD Identifies 2 Who Died In 3-Vehicle Crash

UPDATE: CPD identifies two of victims in a double-fatal, multiple-vehicle crash.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police continued to investigate a fatal multiple-vehicle accident.
NBC 4 gives you the FAST FACTS.
The incident happened on East Broad Street or state Route 16 between Taylor Station Road and the ramp on to Interstate 270 northbound at 12:19 a.m. Friday.
Three cars were involved in the accident, and one vehicle ended up on top of a second.
Several medic and fire rescue crews were called to the scene, including MedFlight.
East Broad Street—eastbound and westbound—was shut down for several hours during the accident investigation.
Four people were transported to area hospitals.
Brittany Depriest, 22, died from her injuries at 2 a.m. Friday at the hospital.
Virasack Homhouane, 29, also died from his injuries. He was pronounced at 6:30 a.m. Friday.
The cause of the multiple-vehicle crash remained under investigation.
