This story has nothing to do with what the OSP or any other officer has done so why be childish and bring it up?  Get the chip off your shoulder.

The first thing that struck me is the mention of WEST Broad St and the location as southwest side.  Reporters used to know their directions but it seems here and in the Dispatch, they have no clue what end of town anything falls on so their reports are a bit misleading.  Geography 101 folks.

It’s sad that people are in a hurry to get nowhere, in a hurry to die and have no regard for who else they may take with them.  How many people have already died on that stretch of road but no one seems to learn.

Maggie12, get over yourself. I was not an OSP officer but was an officer before retiring after 30 years of public service. I took training at the OSP academy during my career so I’ve more exposure to their antics than you have. I disagreed with favoritism then and disagree with it now. I have the right to be judgmental when these idiots are traveling the same roads as my family and myself. This happens more often than you are aware.

That would be 2 OSP now, a local officer, and most likely a 4th law enforcement agent that wasn’t timed and managed to keep his name out of the news.  None of them were ticketed until days after the ‘crimes’ that citizens would have been ticketed and/or locked up for.

If you can’t keep up on the news why are you be posting on it ?  Your ignorance and judgemental comment highly offended me.

I was also on the same stretch of 270 just minutes before the accident.  The traffic was actually moving quite slow.

and for jaj, that’s a very stereotypical comment.  Just because one officer does that, does not mean all Ohio State Patrol officers do.  Isn’t stereotyping something we teach our children not to do?  OSP officers deserve our respect.  The actions of one officer should not affect that.  Your judgemental comment highly offended me, and I’m not even related to any members of law enforcement.

Tell that to the OSP! They think all roads are racetracks.

I was on that stretch of freeway just minutes before the accident. Folks just won’t slow down. I had someone pull out of stopped traffic right in front of me and I just missed hitting them. Folks act like 270 is a race track. Slow down people!!
