An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper has been suspended for one day after an incident involving another trooper and a former officer whom authorities said were speeding on motorcycles.

A Gahanna police officer, fired Monday after he was ticketed driving his motorcycle 149 mph on Interstate 70 in June, may not have received a ticket if his supervisor had not recommended it.

A trooper and police officer who were ticketed for going more than 140 mph while off duty received different fates Monday.
