Today is a somber anniversary for a local community.  It has been five years since Marion County Sheriff Deputy Brandy Winfield was killed in the line of duty.

The Coshocton County sheriff’s office is investigating an early morning crash that sent an 18-year-old to the hospital in serious condition. 

Four Cincinnati-area sheriff’s deputies were taken to the hospital after struggling with an inmate at the jail. 

A sheriff says an Ohio man shot and killed his wife and then killed himself after deputies called to calm the arguing couple had left the scene. 

On Friday afternoon at approximately 12:50 p.m., Licking County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 7875 Green Mill Road in Johnstown on a report of a man entering the house brandishing a handgun. 

Authorities say a man upset with how his case was going bolted from a Cincinnati court room and was chased by police officers on hand to testify in other cases.
