Moten Leads BG Past Central 67-61

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.- Brian Moten hit 5-of-10 from 3-point range and finished with 19 points Saturday night in Bowling Green’s 67-61 victory over Central Michigan.
Darryl Clemens added 13 points and Nate Miller had 10 points, 12 rebounds and six assists for the Falcons (13-9, 6-3 Mid-American).
Trailing 33-28 at halftime, the Falcons went ahead for good, 55-52, on Scott Thomas’ 3-pointer with 5:05 left to play. Joe Jakubowski hit 4-of-4 free throws in the final 11 seconds to ice the game for Bowling Green.
Marcus Van had team highs with 19 points and eight rebounds and Robbie Harman scored 18 for the Chippewas (6-15, 3-6), whose bench was outscored 28-8.
