COLUMBUS, Ohio—A trip to Duke for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, games in the preseason WNIT and an 18-game conference slate highlight the 2009-10 Ohio State women’s basketball schedule released Tuesday.

Last year’s Buckeyes won 29 games and return four starters, including two-time Big Ten player of the year Jantel Lavender.

The season begins Nov. 13 at home against Eastern Illinois in the opening round of the WNIT, with in-state foe Bowling Green a possible second-round opponent if both teams advance.

The matchup with Duke on Dec. 3 features a Blue Devils team that was a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament a year ago while going 14-0 at home.

The Buckeyes won a record-tying fifth consecutive Big Ten regular-season title last year. They begin conference play on Dec. 6 at home against Wisconsin.
