Injuries Leave Depth A Concern For No. 15 Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa—One of Iowa’s favorite mantras has always been “Next Man In.“

But as the 15th-ranked Hawkeyes (9-1, 5-1 Big Ten) head into Saturday’s showdown with No. 10 Ohio State (8-2, 5-1) with a likely bid to the Rose Bowl on the line, they’re on the verge of running out of players to plug in.

The Hawkeyes will enter Columbus without quarterback Ricky Stanzi, starting running back Adam Robinson and star offensive lineman Dace Richardson. Starting free safety Brett Greenwood and wide receiver/punt returner Colin Sandeman may return, but they aren’t listed on this week’s depth chart.

Injuries are a major reason why Ohio State is listed as a 16½-point favorite, even though Iowa is 4-0 on the road this season.
