CINCINNATI—The Cincinnati Bengals have signed punter Kevin Huber, who grew up in Cincinnati and led the nation in net punting the past two seasons while at the University of Cincinnati.
The Bengals released two punters, Kyle Larson and Ryan Plackemeier, after drafting Huber in the fifth-round of the college draft in April. Larson had been the Bengals’ punter the past five seasons.
Huber averaged 45.5 gross yards on 124 career punts in college, with only 37 punts returned. Terms of his contract were not released.
The Bengals have signed six of 11 draft picks, but none from the first four rounds.
