CLEVELAND—Police say Cleveland Browns cornerback Eric Wright flipped his car over on a wet highway entrance ramp and was taken to a hospital.
Twenty-four-year-old Wright was examined at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after the accident early Friday and then released.
Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis says when Wright reported to a team facility later in the morning, the Browns’ doctors sent him for further tests. Gulkis said he had no information on Wright’s status for Sunday’s game with Green Bay.
Police did not ticket Wright for the crash. They say he was entering Interstate 490 from Interstate 77 east of downtown Cleveland when his silver Mercedes slid on the slippery pavement and rolled over.

Of course he didn’t get cited. Probably gave a couple of autographs and that was that. How about “failure to control a vehicle”? That seems to fit.
