Blue Jackets Have Busy Day

COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Columbus Blue Jackets have made their third roster moves of training camp with the re-assignment of 12 players, paring their roster to 38 names.

General manager Scott Howson announced on Sunday that forwards Trevor Frischmon and Pascal Pelletier and defensemen Brent Regner and Andrey Plekhanov were sent to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate in Syracuse.

In addition, forwards Darren Archibald (Barrie/Ontario Hockey League) and Scott Tanski (Brampton/OHL) were assigned to their junior clubs and six players were released: forwards Jon Mirasty, Kevin Harvey, Daniel Steiner, Jared Aulin and Ian Duval, and defenseman Dylan Reese.
