COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There are plenty of things going on throughout the city this week.

1. Workin’ on the Night Moves …
BalletMet presents NightMoves Nov. 6-21 at the BalletMet Performance Space, 322 Mt. Vernon Ave. Get up close and personal with the dancers in this show, which features a wide range of classical works and jazz standards. Visit www.balletmet.org .

2. Up and Coming.
Opera Columbus presents “From Milan to Broadway” Nov. 8 from 2-4 p.m. at the Athletic Club of Columbus, 136 E. Broad St. Experience opera and Broadway highlights with this interactive performance featuring four rising stars from Opera Columbus. Visit www.citymusiccolumbus.org.

3. And the Bands Played On.
The Columbus Symphony Classical Series continues with performances Nov. 7 and 8 at the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St. This show features Jean-Marie Zeitouni with pianist Barry Douglas. Visit www.columbussymphony.com.

The Columbus International Festival is Nov. 7-8 at Veterans Memorial, 300 W. Broad St.
