COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There are plenty of things going on throughout the city this week.

Here are CityScene Magazine’s top five picks:

1. Such Great Heights.
Broadway Across America-Columbus presents In the Heights Nov. 24-29 at the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St. Winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical, In the Heights is a new show about chasing your dreams and finding your true home. Visit www.broadwayacrossamerica.com.

2. Kicking Things Off.
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world famous Rockettes, returns to Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd., at 4 and 7 p.m. Nov. 25. The No. 1 live holiday production in the world brings its arena tour back for another year with all of the classics including Parade of the Wooden Soldiers. Visit www.nationwidearena.com.

3. Speaking of Christmas
Many Columbus holiday staples begin this week, including Holidays at the Conservatory, which runs Nov. 25-Jan. 3 at Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 E. Broad St. This annual display of lights and trees also features more than 100 varieties of poinsettias. Visit www.fpconservatory.org.

Easton’s 11th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony is Nov. 20 in the Town Square, 160 Easton Town Center. Visit www.eastontowncenter.com.

While you’re in the area, Shadowbox’s Holiday Hoopla runs from Nov. 19-Jan. 2 at Shadowbox, 164 Easton Town Center. Now in its 18th year, this sketch comedy production pokes fun at our will to make the holidays perfect. Visit www.shadowboxcabaret.com.

4. Exploring the High Seas.
Contemporary American Theatre Company presents The Seafarer Nov. 24 through Dec.13 at Studio One Theatre, Riffe Center, 77 S. High St. This dark and humorous story was nominated for a Tony Award in 2008 for best new play. Visit www.catco.org.

5. Third Time’s a Charm.
The Columbus Symphony Orchestra presents Mahler Symphony No. 9 Nov. 20-22 at the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St. This concert is the CSO’s third Symphony No. 9 in a row, and features the music of German Composer Gustav Mahler. The work was written in 1909, but wasn’t performed until 1912, a year after Mahler’s death. Visit www.columbussymphony.org.

Reservations Suggested. CAPA presents No Reservations: An Evening with Anthony Bourdain at 8 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Palace Theatre, 34 W.
