Long-lasting relationships seem to have two things in common—a wedding and a baby.
The National Center for Health Statistics has released a study about marriage in the U.S.
Two-thirds of first marriages last at least a decade, which was a goal found to be more likely when the couple had children. Childless marriages were more than twice as likely to end before the 10 year mark.
Of those who lived together without being married, less than a third stayed that way for more than 3 years.
More than half ended up tying the knot.
