CINCINNATI-- The family of a Marine from Ohio killed in Iraq says he was shot while distributing food during a humanitarian mission.
Marine Capt. Warren Frank of Cincinnati died Tuesday in Ninewa province in northern Iraq.
Frank's family says in a statement that the Marine wanted nothing more than to make a difference in the world.
Frank had been assigned to a unit based in Okinawa, Japan.
