Vehicle Crashes Into Apartment

»  Comments | Post a Comment

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A vehicle crashed into an apartment Friday, and Columbia Gas was called to turn off the gas after a resulting gas leak.

NBC 4 reported the accident happened Friday morning around 8:30 a.m. at Fieldstone Trace Apartments off of Park Road, which is north of I-270.

Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Doug Smith said the accident looks like it caused a gas leak. The driver allegedly hit three gas meters before she ended up in the apartment.

Smith speculated that she might have hit the gas instead of the brake.

The driver wasn't transported out of the accident so she was assumed uninjured.
