COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Central Ohioans should expect overcast skies with afternoon and evening snow showers Saturday.
Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Marshall McPeek is calling for overcast skies, afternoon and evening snow showers and a high of 32 degrees today.
A frontal boundary will slide through Ohio today bringing snow showers and flurries. The southern part of the state should only get a dusting of snow… 1/2” to 1” across Central Ohio… and 1”-2” in northern Ohio. The snow will taper off Sunday morning and we’ll get a break during the day on Monday. Another front is headed our way for Tuesday. As the system rolls through, we’ll stay on the warm side of it for most of the day Tuesday… so our precip will be liquid rain. Then, as the low-pressure center passes eastward, the colder air will settle in behind it and the precip will turn to rain/snow mix and snow for Wednesday. These could be our first truly significant accumulations of the season.
Snow showers and flurries, breezy winds and a cold low of 19 degrees are in the outlook tonight.
