GROVE CITY, Ohio--The “Crime of the Week” this week concerns an Aggravated Robbery that took place in Grove City, in the early-morning hours of Sunday, December 7, 2008. Customers at the Applebee’s Restaurant located at 2020 Stringtown Road were taken by surprise when two men entered the restaurant and forced all customers and employees into the cooler. One suspect then forced the manager to open the save and give him the money.
One suspect is described as a male white, 5’8”-5’11”, 180 pounds and approximately 30 years old while the other is described as a male black, 6’-6’4”, 200 pounds and approximately in his 20’s.
Crime Stoppers, in conjunction with Applebee’s is posting a reward of up to $12,000 for any information received by December 24, 2008 leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this.
