COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Authorities say they have arrested a bank robber who wrote a threatening note to the teller but included a “please” and “thank-you” in his instructions.
That event was at a National City Bank at 1886 North Nigh on Dec. 5.
Columbus police have arrested Michael R. Dukes and charged him with that crime.
He got only a small amount of money and a dye pack exploded as he made his getaway, so the cash he did get was tainted with the stain.
The original description of the perpetrator described him as young---about 18 to 21—and carrying a book bag. He’s in custody charged with the bank robbery.
