COLUMBUS, Ohio--Crime on the streets and bullying at local schools are two reasons why the Central Ohio non-profit “SAVE” wants to teach kids how to avoid violent conflicts with each other. It’s called the Youth Peacemaker Training Program. The goal is to help Central Ohio students learn to use non-violent ways to resolve conflicts. The program addresses topics like cyber bullying and media violence. The coordinator hopes kids who participate will serve as role models for those who haven’t received the training.
