HAMILTON, Ohio -- A man who tried to rob a gas station in southwest Ohio last night apparently decided he was too inebriated to finish the job.
Fairfield Township police say a man wearing a ski mask went into a Sunoco north of Cincinnati and handed the cashier a note asking for all the money in the register, plus all lottery tickets.
Police say the note claimed the man had a gun, though no weapon was shown.
When the clerk declined, the man muttered "Nevermind. I'm drunk," and ran away.
The would-be robber is described as a white male in his 20s who was wearing a red sweater.
