CINCINNATI -- A woman in Cincinnati fell 25 feet while performing in a church Christmas pageant and is hospitalized.
Crossroads Community Church says the woman was suspended by a cable over the stage when she fell Wednesday night. A spokeswoman for the nondenominational mega-church says it's not clear how the accident happened.
A University Hospital spokesman identifies the performer as 22-year-old Keri Shyrock and said Thursday morning she is in critical condition.
People attending the performance said Shyrock was playing one of the wise men and is a graduate student at Xavier University.
Crossroads' contemporary Nativity story "Awaited" was in the first of its 11 scheduled performances. The church has not decided whether the show will continue.
