COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A winter weather warning is in effect for Athens, Crawford and Richland counties until 4 p.m. Friday. Some other Central Ohio counties are under winter weather advisories.
Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Jym Ganahl is calling for freezing rain to develop after midnight over the northern half of Ohio with rain from Interstate 70 southward.
He said tonight's low will be 32 degrees. He's expecting soaking rain in the morning Friday with a daytime of high 48 degrees but near 60 degrees in the southern part of the state.
He's predicting a quiet Saturday. Then he forecasts rain to change to snow and windy, cold conditions on Sunday.
