COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Division of Police homicide detectives were called to 1635 Elaine Road early Saturday morning on a report of a homicide.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Patrol officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Elaine Road around 2:20 a.m. Saturday in regards to a shooting.
When the officers arrived they found an unidentified victim inside the location with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center where he died close to 4 a.m.
There currently are no suspects or motive for this homicide. Anyone with information please call the Homicide Squad at 645-4730.
This was the city's 108th homicide for 2008.
