COLUMBUS, Ohio --Several Central Ohio counties are under wind chill advisories or warnings.

Central Ohioans should expect mostly cloudy skies, some flurries or snow showers and very windy conditions Sunday.
Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Marshall McPeek is calling for mostly cloudy skies, some flurries or snow showers, winds and temps to fall today. The early high was 33 degrees; the high by midday will be 20s. With the wind chill, it will feel like 0 to -5.

Mostly cloudy skies are in tonight's forecast with an overnight low near 10 degrees. With the wind chill, it will feel like -10 to -20 degrees.

Overnight freezing rain left many roads, sidewalks and driveways covered with a thin layer of ice. Be careful stepping out today, and watch for patches of black ice on the roads. The low-pressure center passing to the east is ushering in some very cold, arctic air, and the tight pressure gradient is creating very strong winds. Temps will fall during the daytime as the cold air rushes in behind the system. The combination can be very dangerous as wind chills drop to 0 and below. With winds of 20 to 30 mph today and tonight, the wind chills will drop well into the negative numbers. Weak high pressure moves into the region for the first part of the work week but doesn’t have quite enough strength to scour out all the clouds. Another low-pressure center will cross over the state on Wednesday bringing a wintry mix in the morning that changes to rain as temperatures warm up during the day. Some scattered mix and snow showers are possible Christmas Eve night as the temperatures fall back toward freezing. A White Christmas is not altogether likely, but it’s possible in some scattered, rural patches.
