DAYTON, Ohio -- Police say two men robbed a woman unloading purchases in a Wal-Mart parking lot Saturday in suburban Dayton, then shot her in the stomach.
Two men were arrested after an eyewitness followed the robbers in a car and called police to tell them where the robbers were driving.
The 28-year-old woman underwent surgery at Miami Valley Hospital where she was in stable condition.
The shooting happened at a Wal-Mart in Moraine in suburban Dayton.
Moraine police Detective Paul Guess says the woman was unloading purchases when two men approached her and demanded her purse.
Guess says the woman refused until she saw the gun. She was shot in the abdomen after she handed the purse over.
