COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police were called to Cleveland Avenue in front of Northern Lights Shopping Center around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on reports of a pedestrian struck.

A man was struck by a vehicle.
Witnesses said the man appeared to run out into traffic just before he was hit.
Cleveland Avenue was closed for a short-time while police investigated.
The man was transported to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.
