MARNE, Ohio -- Several Licking County fire departments had the tough job of battling a massive fire in the bitter cold late Sunday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The fire started in a large commercial building about six miles east of Newark near state Route 16 on Marne Road close to 10:50 p.m.
Firefighters from eight departments were called to the building from which flames could be seen emerging from more than a mile away.
A fourth alarm was called for engines and a third for tankers as the fire was aided by very strong winds that added oxygen to the mix of fuel and heat.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
