COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 13-year-old was accused of leading deputies on an overnight chase Tuesday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

A police officer spotted a stolen vehicle in the Northern Lights area, but the young driver didn't stop when officers attempted a stop.

Franklin County sheriff's deputies followed the driver, but the teen kept going until he made his way to High Street, deputies said.

Deputies used stop sticks during the pursuit, and when two of the vehicle's tires went flat, the driver crashed off the side of the road on Granby Street and bailed.

The driver quickly was arrested.

Deputies said the driver was 13 years old.
