WASHINGTON -- Firms that track how the congressional map is divided up say Ohio could be the big loser in Congress after the 2010 census.
Projections show Ohio could give up as many as two seats based on new Census Bureau state population estimates.
Ohio's population has grown just 1.2 percent since 2000, compared to gains of 30.1 percent in Nevada and 26.7 percent in Arizona.
Southern and western states stand to snatch more congressional seats from the rest of the country, even though migration to those regions has been slowing. Texas could pick up as many as four seats.
