COLUMBUS, Ohio -- CPD homicide detectives are investigating after two bodies were found in a West Side home.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS Thursday.
Two bodies were found in a home in the 300 block of South Hague Avenue. Both victims sustained gunshot wounds.
One female and one male were found dead on the home's second floor.
The female was identified as 29-year-old April Lester. The male was identified as Jeremy Taylor. It's said he was Lester's boyfriend.
CPD said there were six children in the home when the bodies were found.
Two of the children reportedly went to wake up Lester and Taylor. When the two didn't respond, the children walked to a neighbor's house.
The neighbor talked to Stelzer.
"They said they woke up in the morning and went upstairs to try to wake them up. She had blood on her face and stuff. She was dead," the neighbor said.
The children were safe and some were in police custody.
Lester was the mother of three of the six children.
Lester and Taylor's deaths were being investigated as a double homicide.
CPD did not have any suspects currently.
