NEWARK, Ohio -- Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information regarding a suspect responsible for aggravated robbery at a UDF store in downtown Newark.
The incident occurred on October 22 about 1 a.m. at the UDF located on N. 4th Street in Newark. According to Newark Police, a female UDF employee was leaving work and getting into her car when she was punched in the face by a male suspect who took her purse.
The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes, 16-25 years of age, 5’7”-5’10” tall and weighing 120-140 lbs. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans at the time of the incident.
Crime Stoppers asks that any person with information on this crime please call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. The identity of the caller can be anonymous and allow for the reward to be issued at a later time.
