NEW CONCORD, Ohio -- A woman was killed while trying to avoid a falling tree Friday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from WHIZ in Zanesville.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Traci Reed was driving on state Route 83 Friday night when the tree fell.
Reed lost control of the car, went across the road and hit trees and a fence.
Reed died from injuries sustained in the crash.
A small child, who was in the vehicle and said to be Reed's 5-year-old son, was brought to Nationwide Children's Hospital and was expected to recover.
