MOUNT GILEAD, Ohio -- A man was killed and a woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Sunday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS Monday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continued to investigate the fatal crash that happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
OSP said Harold H. Dye Jr., 78, was driving a 1997 Geo Metro north on Monroe Mills Road.
The report said Harold failed to stop at the stop sign at Danville-Amity Road. The car struck an embankment, flipped, struck a small tree and overturned on its side.
Harold was pronounced dead at the scene by the Knox County coroner.
The passenger, Alma F. Dye, 74, was transported by Med-Flight to Grant Medical Center.
Alma's condition was unknown Monday.
