COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Central Ohioans should expect mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures Monday.
Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Marshall McPeek is calling for mostly sunny skies and a mild high of 47 degrees today.
Mostly cloudy skies, colder temps and a low of 28 degrees are in tonight's forecast.
High pressure is moving out of the region and a cold front is on the way. But this front doesn't have much energy or moisture associated with it. So we're not looking for precip out of this one, just some clouds. It'll roll through the region during the overnight hours. Tuesday looks fine. A massive low-pressure center will slide through Ohio overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and bring a mix of precip: some snow showers that change to rain/snow mix as the temperatures climb, maybe even a few patches of just plain rain. As it moves northeastward, we should see the precip ending in time for New Year's Eve celebrations. New Year's Day will enjoy some high pressure and some sunshine before a cold front sweeps in for Friday morning.
