UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio -- UA police continued to investigate two robberies that happened within minutes of each other Monday.
The first happened on Reed Road, and the second just around the corner on Henderson Road. Both happened between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
And police think the same man hit both locations.

The first robbery was at the Advance America Bank at 1935 W. Henderson Rd., according to police.
The second robbery was at the National Cash Advance at 4740 Reed Rd., police said.
The robber was described as a medium-skinned black male who is about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He has a thin build with braided hair on top of his head and additional braids and beads in the back part of his hair. He also has a distinctive scar under his left eye.
The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and was wearing black pants and a black, hooded sweatshirt, police said.
Female clerks were violently assaulted during both the robberies.
An undetermined amount of money was taken from both locations.
The FBI told NBC 4 check-cashing businesses are not FDIC insured. The FBI only was offering assistance in the cases.
Upper Arlington police were comparing notes with the Fairfield County sheriff’s office to see whether a robbery in Canal Winchester could be related. First National Cash Advance at 6302 Gender Road was robbed on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
