COLUMBUS, Ohio --Columbus Police now know more about why a man was stabbed to death on the city's South Side early Wednesday morning.
Matthew P. Edblom, 33, was stabbed at 1766 S. 8th St., police said. He was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police investigation revealed that Edblom went to the address because he was frustrated with the goings on at the residence, police said.
Edblom apparently confronted resident Israel E. Lee, 33, at his rear door and an argument began.
Shawn Kilgore, 41, answered Lee's calls for someone to remove Edblom and attempted to persuade him to leave Lee's home.
Kilgore and Edblom fought and fell to the yard, and Kilgore allegedly stabbed Edblom with a knife, police reports said.
