Williams Pleads Not Guilty To Rape, Kidnapping Charges

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man suspected of raping a teenage girl and posing as a police officer pleaded not guilty Wednesday.


Charles W. Williams, 38, waived his right to appear in court Wednesday morning and pleaded not guilty to the charges of rape and kidnapping, NBC 4's Tacoma Newsome reported.


Williams turned himself in Tuesday evening after a tipster helped police located the 2000 Ford Expedition he allegedly used in the crime, Newsome reported.

Williams remains in custody at the Franklin County Jail on $200,000 bond.
