[dateline] -- A family is safe after fire ripped through a Pickaway County home this morning.
The fire at 9926 Perrill Rd. was spotted by a passing neighbor, NBC 4’s Tacoma Newsome reported.
The passerby knocked on the door and helped a pregnant mother, her two children and family pets escape, Newsome reported.
There weren’t any injuries, according to fire officials.
The home was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived.
Now, fire officials said they are concentrating on containing the fire so that it doesn’t spread to neighboring homes. One neighboring house has suffered some damage to its siding, Newsome reported.
Fire officials said the house is a complete loss.
