COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Interstate 270 North on the city's southwest side was closed for more than three hours Wednesday night after a pedestrian was hit and killed on the highway, NBC 4 reported.
Traffic was backed up for miles south of Georgesville Road, according to NBC 4's David Wayne.
Investigators closed down the freeway to gather evidence, and the investigation is ongoing.
