COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A woman is recovering after she was shot at an east-side motel Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened around 1:35 a.m. at the Motel 6, at 5910 Scarborough Blvd., near Brice Road, NBC 4’s Mike Bowersock reported.
Apparently, a motel-room window was broken out and then shots were fired through the broken window.
A young woman in her 20s was shot; the bullet reportedly went into her hip and back out. She was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition. She will be fine, Bowersock reported.
Police currently are looking for suspects.
