CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio -- The investigation into an overnight shooting on the city’s east side continued Friday afternoon.
A man came home to 6573 Buckridge Way sometime close to 1 a.m. to find two men reportedly burglarizing his home. The man walked in on the two, and the men allegedly shot the victim in the head, NBC 4’s Mike Bowersock said.
The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition Friday morning, but reportedly was doing better by mid-afternoon.
The two men left the Gender Road area home, and police don’t have any leads on their current whereabouts, Bowersock reported.
