[dateline] -- Emergency crews were called to a local interstate on Wednesday afternoon when a truck overturned.

The crash occurred at Interstate 70 and Hilliard-Rome Road at about 2:30 p.m., NBC 4 reported.

According to NBC 4 photojournalist Shawn Holmes, witnesses said the truck driver was traveling at an appropriate speed and making a turn when a gust of wind caught the truck and tipped it over.

The truck was hauling corn, but the load did not spill onto the roadway.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. He was cited for failure to control.

Traffic was not affected as a result.
