CINCINNATI -- Newly unsealed court records indicate three men accused of shooting at an FBI agent's car in suburban Cincinnati last week thought the occupant had stolen money from one of the men.
The agent was not hit by about two dozen shots fired from another car, which sped away.
All three men have been arrested. Documents show they apparently didn't know the person shot at was an FBI agent, an aspect that could add years to their prison sentences if they are convicted.
The FBI complaint says Special Agent Clay Huesman was doing surveillance work when the shooting occurred. Twenty-five-year-old Robert Coker, 46-year-old Kenny Davis and 23-year-old Deante Martell have been charged with assaulting a federal agent.
