COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Downtown's skyline glows pink starting Tuesday night.
The LeVeque Tower was set to get its familiar pink glow that helps raise breast-cancer awareness and celebrates next month's Susan G. Komen Columbus Race for the Cure.
It's the 13th year for the Downtown lighting tradition.
Komen Columbus has raised nearly $13 million for breast-cancer research since the first race in 1993.
More than 40,000 people were expected to take part in this year's race Saturday, May 16.
Registration is $30 for individuals or $25 per person if you are a member of a team. It's $15 for children age 14 and younger.
The 5K run kicks off at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, May 16, and the 5K walk leaves at 8:45 a.m.
There is also a 1-mile Family Fun Walk at 9:15 a.m.
